    @wilreynolds @eywu @pedrodias I never had the fun of 2400s. My internet days started like many others - cycling through 60 minute AOL floppies and then CDs before finally getting Prodigy dial-up.

    @aaronmcdnz Actually, nope. This began with BBSes in the early 90s. Also happening on Compuserve, an international internet network that AOL modeled itself after.

    Kids today will never know the pain of Internet Explorer not loading at all because your internet was connected through AOL only.

    @Ninethie @Shyway There's a surprising amount of people who don't like skill gaps. Most people never saw it be used unless you played at a high level, and if you did, you probably thought about asking your AOL buddies about how to do it.

    I get teased for having an aol email address, but aol has never randomly deleted important business emails I have saved in various folders like gmail does for no reason 😡
