@ericmbudd How so was it gmail? Gmail was just of its time, based on Google dominance in search popularity. Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail were all hugely popular they just let their UI atrophy for lack of competition... Gmail id's became pervasive for Google login, rather than email.

@LouDobbs @JustTheNews Lou Dobbs, I watched your show and lost tons of $$ investing in AOL , TWX. How could you ever produce such a horrible show in 2000? People lost everything, homes, life savings, and you still have opinions? The show was aired at CNN

@UnknownNeo This debt has been around since at least the back half of the AOL Time Warner days. In fact, that was one of the conditions for AT&T to get Warner Bros. that started this mess: Take on the debt. The problem is nobody looked at the books until they were blood red.

@Luvvie Never had one. But I got rid of my AOL last year. I got roasted every time someone saw it. Even my computer was dragging me when I typed it in.

I feel like using an AOL or Hotmail email address if you’re under 70 it’s a bad look. People who say they don’t have email at all are old, homeless or liars.

You know what I'm tired of @GlobalEdmonton? F*cking ad banners, temperature, scores, etc. Then you have the news in a small square. Who was the idiot who thought AOL format would be a really cool "thing"? #YEG ...and no, I did not see that wintery lane.

  • ElonAltman Elon Altman (@ElonAltman) reported

I’ll never forget my first CD. I must’ve spent 500 hours on AOL for free.

  • Brianjamesomal1 Brian From Corporate (@Brianjamesomal1) reported

@JoJoFromJerz It's boomer ****. In the early days of email, all the boomers would send these emails to each other of wildy inappropriate cartoon porn via AOL. They're horny for cartoons.
