    @gwilson258 💯 Conversely I have previously seen a high correlation between freelancers who use Hotmail/yahoo/aol and freelancers who are not worth dealing with Not always but it’s a signal

    I’m going through the hundreds of voicemails I never listen to and apparently as late as September, 2019, calling and leaving a voicemail asking for someone’s email address was considered acceptable behavior by a boomer. I should have seen this coming. It’s an AOL email address.

  • mBOSSargudo Laker Mat (@mBOSSargudo) reported

    @AOLSupportHelp What are you even saying?! I’m just trying to reset a password, not sign up for a $40 a month service

  • DiveBarJesus Dive Bar Jesus (@DiveBarJesus) reported

    @CeaYoung36 @stillwacktome @TeeZeroHero Just the commercials. I didn't get a computer til 98/99ish. AOL was running **** by then.

  • cosmiquemuffin THEE Nelson #BLM 💉💉💉House Moderna (@cosmiquemuffin) reported

    Oh, and yahoo dot com email addresses are also automatically marked as spam. Aol and yahoo email addresses comprise about half of my volunteer base. So please fix your damn algorithm.

  • mtmthemovie mt metten (@mtmthemovie) reported

    "[this service] supports 96% of email addresses ever made. (That's more than 3.8 billion .." Then later it says it means USA only and Gmail+Yahoo/AOL+Microsoft/hotmail/live. It's sad to see such a high concentration between three companies.
