As someone who doesn't have an active reddit account or use much, it has literally become the new AOL/Facebook. Indistinguishable at this point. Annoying full screen nags to "use the app," walled garden ****. People post links to reddit that are just links to a website, etc.

@SOMAMadman @estherschindler I used to use AOHell to trick AOL into thinking you were in the free "support" area while still using the chat or browser window. Could you imagine being limited to 20 hours per month of internet today?
