My neighborhood was looted twice and boarded up for months. It's why I left. Try going to a boarded up store that has nothing to sell because it's all been stolen. Or you can't get your prescriptions because they were stolen.🤔🤔

Great Friend of the Show Joel Wood (@GiftedMoney) reportedWCW had been losing millions of dollars for years before they closed shop. If AOL/Time Warner wanted WCW on their networks, they’d probably still be around today in some form. People comparing WCW to WWE never cease to make my head hurt. WCW folded because they were the number two and folded under the pressure of going after number 1. They would’ve had a better chance without the merger but they were still fighting the odds. It’s a lot easier for the number two to fold up shop than it ease for number 1 to fall to number 2. Especially when the gap is as wide as it is with WWE and AEW.

Qiang Bai (@qiangthesuper) reportedAOL was the first time I realized that a business could systematically exploit human weakness and make money by misleading customers. At the time, I was still a student. Out of curiosity, I subscribed to AOL. In reality, I already had access to the internet through a PPP modem, so I didn’t need AOL at all. But they offered a “first month free” promotion, and during registration, I had to provide my bank account details. I completely forgot about it. I never used the service, since I continued using my own internet connection. A few months later, I accidentally discovered that I had been charged $9.95 every month. As a student, that was not a trivial amount. I contacted AOL customer service. They didn’t argue or explain — they immediately terminated the service. Which, to me, showed they knew exactly what they were doing — and that this was not an isolated case.

I started in Tech support and learned a great deal about all things computer related, both in dealing with hardware and software. Technology has changed immensely over the past 30 years.
