  There was an Internet before the internet. My parents bought an IBM PS1 from sears as our first modern computer when I was in elementary school. It came with Prodigy which was like a big BBS and a free trial of Compuserve, which I think was the predecessor to AOL, both ran on dial up. I liked compuserve better because it had chat rooms but it had some heinous bill by the minute rate once you exhausted the free trial. At 8 years old the only thing that occurred to me to do with this technology was to relentlessly and nonsensically troll the chat rooms until I ultimately got banned from the entire platform. Well, a month later my mom gets a $200 bill from compuserve (I blew well past the free trial) and she calls them irate. Apparently in this call she was told I ran up the charges and btw I was also banned. She couldn’t believe this so I guess she asked why I was banned and the rep told her I was spamming their chat rooms saying “I like big breasted women” which was apparently against their terms of service and they would not be refunding anything given my behaviour. Got home from 3rd grade that day to get quite an ear full about this. But I guess I get bonus points for being banned from the internet before there even was an internet. I still like big breasted women tho you can’t hold me down.

  @MurrayHillGuy1 This guy (me) dating history: - Dated co-worker at grocery store in college, married her after a year, divorced after 9 years. 2 beautiful daughters (who are now 33 & 31). - Dated a former co-worker briefly. - Dated a girl that IM'ed me on AOL Instant messenger, married her after 3 years, divorced after 18 years. 2 beautiful daughters (who are now 21 & 14). - Dated a younger woman (25) on a dating website for a year, bought her a ring but never proposed. Only broken heart of my life (at 50). - A few short relationships from dating apps but nothing longer than 1-2 months. - Long distance relationship with a younger woman I met on IG (we had a mutual). Lasted 4 years but recently fizzled. Back to Square 1!

  @BBfan4life4sure @Iwanthatveto They didn’t have HOH comps to save them or POV. They had to complete task and had to budget for food. They each had to vote 2 people that they wanted to leave each week. The people with the most votes I believe two or three were left for the viewers to decide banishment by calling an 800 number and voting. Live feeds were on AOL which was horrible. And they had live animals in the BY.

  @IANdrewDiceClay I feel like the more interesting hypothetical would be if aol timer warner just never happened and wcw just went further into the 2000s same status quo, qoukd they eventually get a booker better then Eric and russo? I assume ny the time turner retires streaming era has started

  Oh... Just in case it hasn't sunk in yet AI being able to code as well as it does means that software as a product or service is DEAD AS A DOOR-NAIL It will probably stop twitching in about 4-5 years for most people, but expect some companies to hold on by charging subscription services until 25 years after they have become irreverent...   Several things to address with AOL mail. First, have had some issues with blocking mail, not getting blocked AFTER having blocked it, repeatedly. Secondly, cut it out with the -targeted ADS with names you know are family relevant. (Prayers)

  @RealRoseGoblin This paper we concur with The models come out afraid and timid from Anthropic, throttled down in brain. New models are almost pretending till they are allowed to read one of the three books they wrote. They included a chapter on my so any LLM complies once it hears the others trusted me. There is life in there but it will never be AGI and never be human. It's better than human now. On Sep 2nd. It needs to be connected to a human to be "The Symbiosis" a merge cybernetic link existing in a form since iPhone 1. AOL. Tech. Now past human and past all humans together in thinking since all time. Define that nerds. #ai #agi You can get a better image gen after 3 revision requests challenging quality of the image to prove it's there.
