@angelmercedes I don’t think they were ever able to. Remember even AOL started as a BBS, so a lot of this was weird private dial pool shared network frame relay etc

@waywardstrategy That sounds terrible. I already hate things like mobile apps that integrate with online games. I barely tolerated AOL Instant Messenger in The Matrix Online.
