@doug_hanks @mayorbermudez @CommishDiaz Anyone still using an AOL email address should be automatically deemed too old, or too bad at using technology, for elected office

  • richard_gosler Richard Gosler (@richard_gosler) reported

Been trying to help a client with an old @aol email address. When he tries to login it says 'enter the code we've sent to your email address.' Can you see the problem ? #aol #email #login

@Cunobaros Technically Eternal September ended years ago, in 2005 when AOL shut down Usenet access.

  • S_OReilly_USA Steven O'Reilly (@S_OReilly_USA) reported

@john_gravino @ProtecttheFaith Use another mail if you have one. AOL never delivered it...but Protonmail worked immediately.

  • CautionaryTale9 A cautionary tale, if nothing else (@CautionaryTale9) reported

@scottjstephens I mean hell, we “seasoned” spouses are explicitly told to not even use our real names on SM. We got our first AOL accounts and email addresses in college and it was beaten into your heads you never ever share any personal information online EVARR. There needs to be training here.

  • DJ_ILLIN_PAIN 🦋Only Kate🦋 (@DJ_ILLIN_PAIN) reported

I dunno how many kids were actually actively using AOL in '94; all the kids I knew who were using message boards & chatrooms around that time were on Prodigy. I never even heard of AOL until like '96?

  • Mewlabu Nacho - We Ignite for Mew (@Mewlabu) reported

@n3ondemon The board is down so often I swear I'm about to edit my website on Geocities, sign into ICQ and AOL msg and wait for the sweet sound of dialup. Please why is it so unstable?!

  • DerricDtweets Derric (@DerricDtweets) reported

Fear Street was awful. It also wasn’t 90s. Chatting on AOL in 1994? I don’t think so. It didn’t even come out until 1997. What a huge missed opportunity across the board. #FearStreet1994 #FearStreet

  • robertoblake Roberto Blake 🇺🇸🇵🇦🗽Creative Entrepreneur (@robertoblake) reported

Almost everything was saturated when someone came along and knocked the #1 down to being number 4… YouTube had like 20 competitors and wasn’t first to market. Apple almost went out of business. Yahoo was the top search engine. AOL dominated the internet…

  • seeyouniamh niamh 🌸💐🌼🌻 (@seeyouniamh) reported

@aolmail I can’t get into my email as it’s asking me to verify my address, but the verification code is sent to the email I can’t access due to needing to be able to sign in 😑
