Something got brought up about AOL and everytiallni can think about is my dads cheap ass would only pay for compuserve. Real ones remember this log on screen I know @Quis_Sicut_Deus and @MissShoNdarella remember that piece of shit compuserve dial up....

@0xTomoyo If you're early to mid 30s and dislike Discord, you were probably never into chat platforms at all. I'm amazed there was such a gap between Discord and chats we 30-somethings used to use (IRC, Yahoo, AOL). Message boards weren't the same.

@BadLegalTakes Look, this would be more realistic if they gave the judge an aol email address and if the letterhead was off center because someone at the court ****** up the spacing in their boilerplate doc and no one knows how to fix it

I felt that AOL and Outlook killed email, cemented by the never ending September. Now I’m finally starting to see email be tagged for being a security problem. The replacement is text/chat, not tied to email. We need open-source chat, w/ public open accounts and integrations.
