  • BraidTug Braid-Tug (@BraidTug) reported from Bedford, Texas

@HagneSanti @brother_Buddha @MarcelleX It has some history from the AoL not in the books. Is more a culture read. Less encyclopedia. Also, disappointing art. Artist got rushed by contract changes. So I feel bad for them, but still don't like the character art.

  • SaintPablo93 Pablo Panda (@SaintPablo93) reported from Irving, Texas

This lady still uses AOL gah damn.

@News4SA Hahahhahahahahaha. Have you actually watched one of these. He’s awful. It’s like trying to teach my 80 year grandmother how to use AOL ten years ago.

@GTeninbaum It’s honestly not that difficult to define or comply. If you’re operating in the modern world, with adherence to basic common sense in the use of technology, you’re not going to be violation. If you’re using a fax machine and AOL email address for work, we might have a problem.

  • Scofflaw2021 Femme Outlaw (@Scofflaw2021) reported

@elonmusk Twitter going the route of AOL chatrooms. I give this platform maybe 2 years max unless/until you take the albatross off. Hyper-curation is NEVER going to be the answer. We have "block" & "mute" that's all we need. We're being managed like children in every aspect of our lives.🛑

  • Centrifugal Michael Davey (@Centrifugal) reported

2/4: In the case of the internet, AAPL was a poor stock in late 90’s, MSFT a poor internet product; Amazon was a bookstore and Google wasn’t public till 2004. AOL, YHOO, JDSU-fare were the big winners late 90’s…Crypto will have it’s post-crash opportunities…need patience

  • ItsAMeSteveO Steve Michael (@ItsAMeSteveO) reported

Didn't think it was possible to make 90s culture uncompelling but that's precisely what the fat **** J.B Pritzker managed to do w/his stupid af AOL ad. ***** I am leaving this wretched, hopeless state as soon as I get the chance, & I ain't coming back. Nostalgic ads be damned.

  • DerekJR321 DerekJR321 🇺🇲🇷🇺🙉🙈🙊 (@DerekJR321) reported

@collins_daman When I was in my early teens, the closest we had was dialing in to BBS. Then Prodigy and Compuserve came along. Then AOL to today's internet. I think the net started its bad shift after AOL. Plus, I think social media is a government psyop.

  • wanyinbot Jiang Cheng (@wanyinbot) reported

Jin Ling. Come help me guess Wei Wuxian's AOL password

  • JosieGrama JosieGram (@JosieGrama) reported

@DanForTexas See.... Where are all my peeps calling me the crypt keeper lol Not crypto keeper that told me I didn't know **** and I should go back to tweeting from my AOL account... Kiss my *** kiddies

  • septembergrrl Elisabeth 🇺🇦 (@septembergrrl) reported

@SpaceTimeAlien @draeonic @alexstamos The scale on that chart is a problem. 500 million people is still 1/16 of the world’s population; it’s just a lot smaller than 2 billion. The chart also leaves off sites that declined in popularity over that time frame, like MySpace and AOL.

  • MunksterMan2 debuggin’ dan (@MunksterMan2) reported

@codingmilf my dad’s like a real life ned flanders. he banned cable TV because he didn’t want that damn rap music in his house. we did have AOL dialup at least, probably a miscalculation on his part. a very bored, curious 9 year old Dan kinda went all in on it.. 1/?
