@YardleyShooting They took over AOL when I was still on a dial-up connection and suddenly stopped the service without warning. Went to use the library internet for online help and they wouldn't provide any. Still took the money, of course: Had to write one of my rather effective strong letters.

@kenmills1959 @Renata4524 Well AOL I think died because of Tuner.... and Yahoo was brought out by AT&T I think? Could be wrong. FB and Twitter are never going to 'die,' till something bigger and better comes. Good Example: Myspace.

Random thought: I will never understand how (now bankrupted) companies back in the 90's, didn't think online services were the future. I know AOL was pretty slow, and the internet was new then, but where else do you go after the internet anyway?
