@DerrickEvans4WV Can we just go back to AOL and dial up internet? Do we really need everything connected to everything…? I don’t think so. Let’s cancel this AI stuff.

@ToddVercoe @PoloniumTurd Delphi wasn't Internet, it was a walled garden service like AOL. BBS's weren't Internet either. The WWW didn't come about for end users till '91.

@lithos_graphein @brockpierson Love it, fond memories of my BBS days. I was one of the first in my area to get a meg drive for my Commodore 64! I still dream of the sound the modem used to make. Then the Prodigy service came along and soon after the mass mailing of AOL disks! That was the end of most BBS’s

@AOL : WARNING - If forced to upgrade to paid subscription to “reset” password, you will not be able to return to “free” plan, even if you block future charges on your credit card. They charge you anyway. Call them: you hold for an hour. Then they say they’ll fix it, but don’t!

@CitysideFiber Might be the worst service I've ever had. Regret making the switch. I don't think dial up AOL was as bad. The amount of interruptions is excessive.
