In the late 80s/early 90s I travelled with a luggable ASCII workstation and worked on client issues on 2400 baud connections from hotels. I feel ya.

    @Latina_Schatje Yeah, at home in Florida. I woke up, and I normally get coffee and then go on the computer (early AOL), but I felt off and sat on the couch and turned on the TV just in time to see the 2nd plane hit the towers 😢 It's a day I'll never forget

    RESTAURANTS NEED HELP. We’re picking up steam. News outlets (CBS, AOL are a few) are reporting on the fact that over 50% will close without RRF or support S 4008 ! Congress is at fault for this! @WaysandMeansGOP @SenateApprops @SenateApprops

    @FrankLesniak I sorta did. We had Prodigy, which was kinda like AOL. I *think* it also had a web browser...but maybe not. I sure wish I still had all that old stuff. I never thought I would back then.

    I don't really know what I'm talking about, both since it's been forever and since we never had AOL in our house, but I have not been so enthralled with a UI since the AOL application, with its browser, chat, other applications -- all contained in one window

    @bhschenker a year later, it aol spam numbers have increased. gmail is not this bad, not even close
