@AriDavidPaul Yes, & making Crypto into email-quality ubiquity is a ways off. Iterations (Arpanet->compuserve/mciMail->AOL/Prodigy->yahoo/hotmail->Gmail) drove incremental improvements, took >5 years, even w/ more people focused on more acute problems before grandma-ready

Tried sending the original photo twice from the Apple device to android it did send, but both the AOL account and Gmail account never received the profile pic of myself with the peace for victory hand gesture.

@WokChic Yes, it is funny that people would look down on a vintage AOL email address. Everybody had them at one time…. Almost all email addresses are essentially free, so it’s not as though some of them are prestigious or something…

@LibbyBlog I still use my aol email address I’ve had since I first started computing with in 1997. If it’s not broken ... It’s a lot more user friendly than others I’ve tried using. Has a certain degree of snobbery, from others sneering, which I find bizarre 🙄

@Fairphone hi folks, wondering if you could help, I tried sending a photo from my Apple device to my Fairphone 3, the Apple did it's swishy sending sound, and I sent it to two of my email addresses: AOL and Gmail, to upload to my Twitter, they got lost in the ether, any ideas?
