@TMobileHelp Unfortunately, you guys don’t want to fix it through DMs or through your tech line. My cell phone speeds are just fine. My home internet speeds are worse than AOL dial up some times.

Should have never started going in those AOL “bi-chat” rooms when I was 12

@JUSTONEPOST2 I had a pc when we had dial modems and AOL. There was Yahoo, AOL chat rooms where people believed whatever they saw and read. There will always be dumb and naive people who believe the **** on FB. Age has nothing to do w it.

@bryanrbeal Bitcoin is evolving similar to domain names & the Internet. Last year you could hang an HTML page off of it. This year we have AOL style on-ramps, like Square. Soon we will have the equivalent of robust websites. And, ultimately you will have full-blown crypto native companies.

@CrustyRusty8it I felt that way toward the end of AOL, but I still felt I was gaining something - once the bad outweighed the good it was time to go Here the good far outweighs the bad for me personally within my personal situations and the benefits it has and purpose it's serving for me

Believe it or don't, Starship Troopers: Battlespace on AOL 3.0 rocked. They had like 8 classes per side. It was a badass top-down shooter and I am bewildered that it isn't a thing in 2020 @mythic

  • SlappyJack SlappyJack (@SlappyJack) reported

@jon_bois Decades ago as a tech support person I had to teach people how to type this over the phone to try to get their modems to connect to AOL. Some of them couldn't do it. True Story.

@MarketWatch Absolutely horrible comparison! Now, Facebook could certainly be the next AOL, but Tesla, they are changing the world. BTW, they are not a car company. @slangwise
