@joncoopertweets @AOL Poor judgement is making a mistake when you know better. This wasn't poor judgement! Leading a handcuffed man behind you with ropes while you're on horseback is some messed up KKK shit that should have been abolished with slavery. That wasn't a mistake, it was a choice!

@JeremyAGriffin @ImaJackwagon I never used those. Went from aol to MySpace

I "was Bahai" briefly when I was a kid. I met another girl my age (14) on AOL instant messenger and we met up & became quick friends. Then one day her parents converted to something called Urantia and I was never allowed to see her again. I found her on Facebook years later and she tried selling me Amway stuff.

@RetroNewsNow I never had AOL. Just a seemingly endless supply of their cd's.

@0hour1 I used AOL all the time. I used to use AOhell for a little trouble making.

@mysteriouskat I never read books after AOL. Everything I needed to know was on the internet. I literally had zero use for most books and it's not to say they aren't useful, but I just came up at a different time. I've been glued to the computer ever since.

@HeyHeyItsConrad Ha man I remember when AOL stopped charging by the minute and offered an unlimited plan for $20 a month and the service was so busy my modem got nothing but busy signals. And if I said that to kids today, I'd get nothing but confused stares.

@Twolazy2think @CollinRugg She's 78. You should volunteer to help her post online. First though, could you help her access her aol emails? They were there last time she checked and now they have disappeared.

  • HellsHOA
    Hell’s HOA (@HellsHOA) reported

@BexWords @RedKingRuairi75 They’re everywhere. Were you on AOL back in the day? Bunch of lower middle to working class or poor married men hitting on minors. The class and education-based skew is uncomfortable to parse without sounding like an *******.

  • JJeffrey100
    Hey Jay (@JJeffrey100) reported

@0hour1 ha i recently tried to login to aol with my old AIM account. man, AIM was the OG texting because texting didn't exist (and most of my friends in college didn't even have cell phones)

@SonofLiberty357 all of the above. Still use my aol address but I never owned a "walkman" but I had many handheld portable radio, cassette players then Cd players.
