@dfvalenta2 @georgehahn Never had casual Fridays when I was at the law firm. But, at Time Warner I think we dropped the coat and tie Friday requirements in '94 (maybe). By the time I made it to AOL a few years later, at least half the gang was in tee shirts & blue jeans — every day.

  • ICastMoustache I Cast Moustache (@ICastMoustache) reported

@kristinkuffner **** this double digit IQ curve is real. I mean this is really such a basic concept. Not even unique to humans. Heck, education aside, there's period porn ffs. This is so backwards, how does he get online even? I miss the old AOL days when getting online was still an IQ test.

  • jordan_n_marr Jordan Marr (@jordan_n_marr) reported

@dam5s Despite being burned out on MVVM and my dislike of the built-in page routing, Xamarin is fine. My problems mostly revolve around the barriers put in place by Apple and their walled AOL garden.

  • SwearyHistory CH Burford 🤬✍🏻 (@SwearyHistory) reported

I'm an elder millennial. My skills include dialing a rotary phone, properly loading a floppy disk, not losing my **** when I have flashbacks of the AOL dial-up tone, and having entire conversations using only GIFs.

  • KMJeezy 👑 🥂Genghis Kellz (@KMJeezy) reported

Im not telling anybody what to do but the chances that you will be taken seriously from a hotmail, aol or yahoo email address in 2022 is very slim *****. That **** is going straight to spam.

  • therealrthorat Ryan Horath (@therealrthorat) reported

@BallouxFrancois The article doesn't actually take any strong stances. It just says there should be debate. And it hints at one of the real problems online: the fact that sites are immunized from normal accountability by a special law that was crafted by the sites themselves (Prodigy & AOL)...

  • JIMSTAR1973 💀♫Ĵíᙢ ՏԵმᏒ♫💀(ᏔᎵᏩᏯ)💚 (@JIMSTAR1973) reported

@onionheart_ @TheCiscoKidder **** I still have an aol email that I could use from the old dial up days. But I’m much older than that even.
