  • HeySheckie Sheck'quon 🤷🏻‍♂️ (@HeySheckie) reported from Bethesda, Maryland

@ESPN your iPad app is literally one of the worst playback devices I have ever used. It’s like watching video on a 1994 AOL dial up. app.

  • JaydeColer Jayde Willow Coler🏳️‍⚧️ (@JaydeColer) reported from Arlington, Virginia

He IS a security risk but I’d say he’s more like Netscape (old as shit and useless) or the old AOL software (kept around far longer than should have been because people liked the one catchphrase it had)

  • Cr8DigitalAsset Christina Haftman (@Cr8DigitalAsset) reported from Fair Oaks, Virginia

@robertoblake I went to college pre internet. We had large computers with floppy disks, DOS command prompt, loud, vibrating dot matrix printers and slow screechy modems. This was before Windows and IE. Before email. Before AOL. Before NETZERO. Before Yahoo Messenger.

  • ShirleyImMilk G. Double D. (@ShirleyImMilk) reported from Arlington, Virginia

Were talking about “What cultural item are you older than” at work. We’re slow. So far, I’m older than MTv, AOL and VHS cassettes. This is a fun game to make me feel like I AM ACTUALLY THE OLDEST IN THE STORE. I don’t like this game... I’m taking my slap wraps and going home.

  • TheVoxSola Vox Sola (@TheVoxSola) reported

@emeriticus Respectfully, we do in fact have a solution. Without the backing of law and its enforcement, let corporations run as they will and let consumers decide whether corporate censorship goes too far. Might hurt short term, but competition prevails. AOL and MySpace were massive too.

  • LemmeFindOut_ beyonce’s last nerve. (@LemmeFindOut_) reported

My colleague’s intern, a 14-yr old HS student, is compiling a contact list for company sponsors: I: What’s @aol.com? Is that a website? C: Yes, & an email domain. I: Oh... so, it’s like a work email or home? C: Wait, you’ve never heard of America Online? I: No. Me: 😨😩😔

  • YvonneHinsonFL Florida Representative D20 Yvonne Hinson (@YvonneHinsonFL) reported

@JeremiahTatter @CityofOcalaFL What's the problem with an @ aol email?

  • Banned_Randy Banned Randy ↙️↙️↙️ (@Banned_Randy) reported

Is it a bad sign that a customer’s technical contact has an AOL email address, or does that just mean they’ve been in the business a long time? 😬😬😬

  • JeremiahTatter Jeremiah Tattersall (@JeremiahTatter) reported

Working the @CityofOcalaFL election and seeing 19% of those who filed have an @ aol email address. This is up from the 0% in 2019 but down from the 33% in 2017. The high water mark of course being the 2013 election where a whopping 43% of candidates had @ aol email addresses.

  • Pujemin Pujemin (@Pujemin) reported

Do you know how expensive AOL is? (I was lucky to get my dialup connection half the time) Poor Josh. Leave him be. #FrightClub #FearStreet1994

  • bobtiki Mark “Bob” Boszko 🎥🎞📺🏳️‍🌈 (@bobtiki) reported

@chris_page I know I was ‘bobfett’ on AOL around that time. I can’t recall what any of my other service IDs were. CompuServe had a boring numeric ID maybe?

  • fonzmulder Adbuster Bluth 🥞 (@fonzmulder) reported

@actionattheend one of the mad nyc ppl is the person who at natcon said the AoL resolution was like the Senate

  • jsl_13 Joshua Lehrer (@jsl_13) reported

@Amtrak Seriously? This is a major bug. How can you require people to have a yahoo, gmail, or aol email address? Why would you? Please fix this. I know of no other company that restricts consumer email domains.

  • mj2v Michael Johnson (@mj2v) reported

@derekiswise Yea, the Internet really sucked back then. Like really aol type bad.
