@RationalDis @daveweigel the syntax is similar to a joke but the framing doesn't make sense. neither are items that would be inconvenient on a desert island, they would be irrelevant, since they have no connection, positive or negative, to the scenario at all. aol is a defunct service and aoc is a person

Back in the day when I was a young lad I took one of the many free AOL CDs we got and I broke it into a lot of pieces to make a puzzle, and I scanned it in to try and make game out of it but never did. Left the pieces in the scanner too and my sister thought I broke it.

@RubinReport AOL. I can use the back of the disk to signal planes or ships.

@RubinReport Most comments here focus on AOC physical attributes but none seem to remember how horrendous AOL was. On a deserted island I'd rather have AOC trying to mimic the sound of the handshake of a 28k bauds modem in a coconut phone than trying to get this stupid CD to work

@RubinReport AOC for sure, her ability at fabricating stories might help with fabricating a raft. Then again, the raft might be fake... : ( Disregard, AOL CD is the way to go.
