The @Candlewood Suites at the Richmond (VA) Airport has internet service that is WORSE than AOL’s dial-up service of the late 1990s.

I think was also a primary reason for its success. It was a platform, not just an app. I've only ever used Twitter through the Twitterific app, which was excellent. The official app sucks, the official website sucks, I'm not into walled gardens (AOL/Facebook). 3/

@TJ_Cooney Yeah, my customer base has a ton of aol and other odd, old emails. Plenty of customers that don’t have an email address at all as well

@SiranoNightmare WCW was doomed in late '98. Eric Bischoff has broke this down many times. TNT wanted WCW to be family friendly. They were on borrowed time after the AOL Time Warner merger. Had nothing to do with Russo. TNA's ratings stayed high until 2012 which is when he left the company

@jaggedLiL_pill It had its moments. One of my assignments was running AOL live events with sports celebs. On dial-up. It wasn't unusual to be in the middle of an event, hear the dreaded "goodbye," and frantically search for an open connection with no busy signal.
