@MikeBloomberg @AOL Sorry Mike about you dropping out, by you receiving a lack of votes. But that's the way it goes in life. But me personally will always feel that, poor blacks, poor white people, and poor foreigners need changes and help in their lives. Only God can help them.

@danwallach I think back often on how AOL was legally required to make AIM interop with other messengers but it never actually happened. Apple's proprietary SMS system is much worse though, they use their operating system platform control to lock people in.

Sometimes I think I’m aging gracefully but then things happen like AOL Instant Messenger being shut down or people attacking my reflex of typing two spaces after a period. Anyway, todays Internet Explorer news gets me.

@washingtonpost For Pete's sake, get over it. Internet Explorer was the Chrome of their day and neither are worth a grain of salt. I have better memories of Netscape Navigator and AOL than this garbage and that's not a ringing endorsement of any of them. SMDH

@larry_irving AOL started going down about a month after I (and Lisa, maybe) started. Total coincidence.
