@CathyPegau I've had several domain names registered for years (my name, the name of my publishing LLC), but I've never figured out exactly what I want to do. Plus, my page building skills peaked in the heyday of AOL. I used to have web savvy friends, but that was several decades ago.😢

@old_lady_katie @naniSohrei @lampsnearyou OH WAIT YOU WERE NOT THERE. last saturday me and Nani did a stream where we just browsed the internet...but like PROPERLY, like how you did in the days of AOL and Web 1.0. Not this Web 2.0 ****. WE found some great sites, maybe next time you join?

@stevesi @cspan Microsoft may have learned the wrong lesson from the AOL/Sun play against us on the browser and media player: how to use the government to cause trouble for competitors.

@AOLSupportHelp But you will make no effort to make this right for my mother?? I can give you the case number, so you can try to remedy this. Your rep’s security question, asking an 84-year-old woman to recall a subject line from an email she sent a week ago, was absurd. Fix this.

@AOLSupportHelp I have NEVER had trouble resetting a password with any other website. The hoops you made us jump through were unreasonable and customer-unfriendly. Make this right — not for future customers, but right now, for my mother, who has been a customer for years.

@plgunther @ben51464333 @MartiniGuyYT None of those things address the fees issue, its held to ransom by pure greed, Vitalik is a horrible leader, he couldn't run a lemonade stand. All the smarts left Eth years ago to do other things. As for its network effect - well, AOL had the network effect but didnt innovate

@alexgoldmark @planetmoney I don't. AOL wouldn't tell me when I called (despite being the executor) and American Express (how I found out) couldn't go back far enough. Only evidence I have is that the service was being charged on a card that expired in 2017 - so, before then.

@AOL Have attempted twice to speak to your customer service reps to reset my elderly mother’s password, to no avail. You couldn’t make things more difficult for a customer. You are absolutely the worst. THE WORST.
