@KayEllen48 @TheMetroJEM @cmclymer My AOL accounts are more spam free than my Gmail accounts. Plus, I signed up for lots of loyalty cards in my primary AOL account many years ago, so if I get rid of the AOL account it means I have to update everything. Too lazy. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

I randomly thought of My 6th grade AOL chat room boyfriend, Joey. I wonder what he's up to. I'm pretty sure we're still dating. We never officially broke up. Also, I wonder if he was really in 6th grade as well or if he was like 50. Or 8. I don't think I'll ever know. *sigh*

@webjedi Is it bad that I still regard Steve Case as the reason we have such a mess of an Internet, all these years later? Without AOL bringing Internet access to the masses, would we really have these messes? Or is this my whole, “get off my lawn” sort of thing?

  • 21edu Karen (@21edu) reported

@AndrewSolender Never knew that Yahoo, Google, Amazon, AOL, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Snap, and Twitter were Telecoms? Amazon cracks me up it's a marketplace and cloud storage reseller. What kind of security settings do these people have on their phones?

  • _davidshae David Shae (@_davidshae) reported

Sometimes I wonder what my final AOL IM away message was. Such tragic irony that I would be away for ever and never open the app again. I imagine it was probably along the lines of “eating a burrito. Mmmm”

  • mikexki MK 🏎 🇨🇦 (@mikexki) reported

@CaitlinLong_ This is BEYOND Bullish for #BTC Remember AOL back in the day, when their infra crashed under demand? Analysts said it was over. They couldn't connect the dots that systems going down due to demand is incredibly bullish... and it was.

@PringleBit @thashark316 TBF it was a combo of bad booking, bloated contracts, and an awful partnership with AOL that did WCW in. At least they don't have to worry about the partnership side of things with AEW
