These never knew the annoyance and frustration of waiting forever to connect to AOL and then having someone pick up the phone and disconnect you because they need to make a call #CruelSummer

@JWagnerFXTrader Dial up and friends or coworkers asking what can you do online? (circa 95/98 ) Besides bulletin boards and waiting for AOL to "you have mail" (which never happened) I had no answer.

@Ale_Mil @AOLSupportHelp I had the same issue. Removing (deleting) the account from my iPhone and then adding it fixed the issue for me. Best of luck!

@CryptoMobsterYT Bitcoin is **** now compared to what comes next but completely necessary.. AOL wasn’t **** when it first came out but it doesn’t exist now.. it’s called innovation and you clearly can’t think in terms of technology advancing at and exponential level. BTC won’t make it to 2030

I can't cancel my NYT subscription, because I was never foolish enough to ever have one. I did cancel my AOL account for the 10th time, because FREE TRIAL, although every other cancel attempt they just gave me a free month to save me the bother.

@akramgubran @WholeMarsBlog Oh, definitely not. I researched cryptos in 2017 and already saw the issues with Bitcoin. I trade it, but in the longterm, I'm betting $BTC and $ETH might turn out to be AOL and Yahoo.

(This was also, as I recall, a big problem with the AOL chatrooms and IMs of my youth, and probably IRC and so on. Obviously the scale of the issue and perhaps even the potential for harm is much greater with these platforms, though.)
