Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

No email today since 2pm. Some server is still down. Last time I didn’t have work email was 1995 - even the Spice Girls weren’t big, no google and dial up connections via AOL If it’s urgent people can still text. then it was a call to a brick phone - but nothing couldn’t wait.

@USCocksman @Bitterwhiteguy I always read “internet” in these cases to mean “using **** which required an IP address” as opposed to a “dial-up service”. AOL wasn’t “internet” until 1996, for example.

@tomcoates @peta_russell Same here. Received my first warning a few weeks ago. Each day I delete emails and pics to avoid the google purge. Yet, I have hundreds of thousands of emails and pics that have collected on my ancient-but-still-active AOL account but no issue.🤔
