Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

@Milkman2228 De really is a stupid ****, used to talk to him on AOL, surprised he can even construct a coherent tweet, they’re probably all copy and pastes since he’s not said “nig” once..

@davidpenzer @FiteTV Taking WCW off TV was death and AOL/Time Warner knew it. They didn’t want it on the air, despite the ratings being strong even into 2001. It was the worst merger in the history of the media business.

@bitcoinzay @OnyHar That narrative aol pet.con etc is a narrative PoS masters pass down to their loyalist subjects, so they can parrot 🦜the script in threads 🧵 like this and hopefully recruit some new adepts.

@NoahCoiner The value of a brand vs the value of a network effect of a global decentralized system. I don't think there is much network effect in AOL. Same goes for crypto vs bitcoin.

@Wedge Days before my first AOL CD, I spent hours trying to get to Compuserve support, they were stuck on a primitive browser with dismal dial-up connections. AOL connected almost instantly, I could use Netscape, was cheaper, AND gave me a decent email address. I did not mock.

@FiteTV It wouldn't have mattered who bought WCW. They had nowhere to broadcast. @EBischoff has said AOL weren't going to be the "rassling network", and refused to show them on any of their networks.

I have a 1 GB internet speed & my PS4 is connected to my router via an ethernet cable, yet somehow, MLB tv takes longer to load than it took to ****** sign in to AOL with a dialup connection 25 years ago
