It is also difficult for many to type what they want for fear of that digital trail. We have also come to the point were us old school bbs and aol chat room people are becoming less and less. I often have to

IamEric+ Streaming Service only 4.99/month (@IamEricT) reported from River Forest, Illinois@swyx @jaredpalmer First software I ever wrote in Corp America was to make sure a large Telco could create a bill supporting that many digits… the intended customer persona: AOL
-
James Zekis (@JamesZekis) reported from Oak Park, Illinois@TheNotoriousLEX My memories of that race is mostly being in AOL chat rooms with people screaming at each other about steroids and Chip Caray with the worst HR call in history when McGwire broke the record. I don't want a documentary to color my experience.

NYOB (@noybinbama) reported@Ask_Spectrum I would encourage anyone considering spectrum not to use it. Since Thursday I have had 17 outages. In the days of AOL I never lost connectivity this much. This company is a cheap alternative. I called to cancel and they said the outages were because I had old equipment. That was Friday. Tech was supposed to be here Sunday and they swore the equipment would arrive by then. They called to cancel swearing the problem had been resolved. The new equipment showed up yesterday. They are definitely losing a few customers on this one in my neighborhood. Don’t let the $85 per month internet and cable fool you. It’s a piece of ****
-
Reboticon (@Reboticant) reported@dlwiest @goblinodds AOL eventually got sued for how they were counting minutes but it was so many years later. I knew that **** was fake because i would use a timer and still ran up like $100 on my parents credit card and had to work all summer.

the last of the gentleman sleuths (@dravenpop) reported@TheRoyalePain @akamaxpower Prefacing this with this isn’t a prediction that it’s going under or anything but it’s arguably never been closer to folding with it not really being a wrestling company anymore. It serves a similar function to what WCW did for turner and the AOL- Time Warner
-
m (@DeorumBellator) reported@ItIsHoeMath @lady_valor_07 ahh, AOL. Sign up for a credit card and get a CD that had 3 months of free internet, and cancel right before 3 months hit. A house with 4 people in it could get a year of internet free.
-
Barry Zahurance (@barryzed) reported@RalphsTarot @Soaringeagle45 I was never into AOL either. Compuserve and BBSs were more my speed.
-
KD (@TheMightyKD) reported@wrestletaleszay Can’t really compare to WCW as it was owned by Time Warner and sold it due lack of interest in wrestling overall with AOL merger. Similar to TNA constantly being sold and yet they’re still around. WWE closing is like NBA closing just never gonna happen.
