MichaelJensen1 (@_Kadmos1) reported@ERCboxoffice Maybe during the classical studio system of Hollywood era (~1927-1948), the WB/Paramount merger would have been better. Today, it is horrible. The Disney-Fox, Disney-Marvel, Disney-Lucasfilm, AOL Time Warner, AT&T Time Warner, etc. mergers/acquisitions were horrid.

Sicilian (@FixerSicilian) reported@hthieblot Oldest website I still use would have to be Yahoo. I still think about Quantum Link (Q-Link) , which was a Commodore 64/128 only dial-up service I joined in 1986. Mainly used it to play chess online. Kind of counts as an "app". Q-Link later became AOL.

FutureAzA (@FutureAZA) reportedI mean, the mismanagement didn't help. Plenty of customers stayed with AOL for ages because it was easier than switching to a better, faster, cheaper internet experience. HughesNet took their customers for granted and the satisfaction scores reflected it.
