Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

Didn't think it was possible to make 90s culture uncompelling but that's precisely what the fat **** J.B Pritzker managed to do w/his stupid af AOL ad. ***** I am leaving this wretched, hopeless state as soon as I get the chance, & I ain't coming back. Nostalgic ads be damned.

Be thankful if you didn't have to live during the era of needing a landline telephone in order to hook up the internet and still have that thing load up slow as hell. I remember getting the free AOL trial discs in the mail.

@PsychopathBtc @stephanlivera I don’t think comparing a payments network to AOL is particularly useful. There are better payment networks now I use instead of LN. I don’t think it has come a long way, unfortunately. It’s ok, I’ve no real use for it. Main chain payments have many advantages for me.

@elonmusk Twitter going the route of AOL chatrooms. I give this platform maybe 2 years max unless/until you take the albatross off. Hyper-curation is NEVER going to be the answer. We have "block" & "mute" that's all we need. We're being managed like children in every aspect of our lives.🛑
