Geez @verizon I pay $330/month for 6 devices on a family plan, and I can only use my jetpack for approximately two weeks of normal internet usage, and then you slow me down to pre-AOL dial-up speeds. Just hate this. That's not fair at all.

@ryanqnorth Basically it was a glorified, corporate BBS. AOL has a very interesting history too as it was a spin-off division of Compuserve. It, along with its Compuserve parent, is now owned by @Verizon . The service started out in my home state of Ohio…Columbus, Ohio to be exact.

@LambertJan42 @EBischoff They beat Raw for more than 100 weeks total. WCW didn’t go bankrupt. It was sold effectively for that amount to WWE because AOL-TW decided to end TV for wrestling killing its value. There was some bad TV in 99-01 but no matter what AOL was ending it.
