@MichaelJStern1 It probably just contains an old Windows 95 install with a free copy of AOL. So stupid.

@zoeobeimhen Good points. 'Blue sky' CEOs nearly made Steve Jobs & Elon Musk fail. They couldn’t even imagine Larry Page & Sergey Brin setting aside monopolies like AOL & Yahoo. Our problem is that the NTA are champions of their own developments and BLOCK US from talking to all state agencies

the weirdest thing about making something that became widely popular is the people who build an entire identity around being like, "lol that popular thing sucks so much, the only way to get the truth is to contact me on aol instant messenger TRUST ME"

IS IT RLLY NECESSARY TO BRING EVERY AOL STUDENT DOWN JUST BC THEY MADE ONE FCKING MINOR MISTAKE. TF YOU DIDNT EVEN SEND MATERIALS AND NOW YOU HAVE THE GODDAMN AUDACITY TO DO THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOUR.

@johnofhousejohn Market ideas from my GoDaddy support experience: 1. Ppl who let their dev or agency register and manage their domains (bad idea). 2. Ppl that don’t keep domain contact info updated. Maybe they used an aol but now use their business email only. 3. Idiot insurance (backup)
