    @BakedJake hung up and called back to get different and verified the info I told you. Bad seeds there for sure. But with best service in valley, CL cant give us gig speeds, only aol levels. SO had to force @CoxComm hand. Have another step but, would give Exec team a chance. p2

    @DaAnsahonSports @xxxvcxa We don’t need a lecture on the history of the internet, Martin, but clearly you feel qualified to teach it. We’re all aware of Hometown AOL being a cesspool in 1996. You don’t change the culture of social media by accepting it. And you don’t change poor treatment by ignoring it.

    Back in the day there were at least four major messaging platforms: ICQ, AIM, Yahoo Messenger, Microsoft Messenger. One of the bit difference is the latter two did nothing to keep it from being overrun with crap, and AOL which ran the first two did.

    @kaleidomuubii Indeed it was! It was on one of those AOL CD-roms that also came with some amount of free internet service. Keep in mind this was probably 1999 A.C. (After Crunch), so things were a bit stranger back then.

    @GEORGEPPP I remember back in the early day of the internet on AOL,there were christian chat rooms, they were always full, total chaos, and I remember this 1 guy said he wasn't a christian, but liked hanging out in the chat room to "watch the christians eat each other". I never forgot that
