    I once (!) recovered a broken Sony Vaio from the AOL era, by manually rebalancing the cells to 3.5V It did actually run, astonishingly. Cells were above the safe minimum but just barely (2.41V, 2.62V and 2.29V) so at least it was possible to test. HDD was fried, screen bad etc.

    @Ke3bZ It was like a Sci fi government mystery like game. It used phone calls, AOL messenger and email. I would get calls from a voice using voice changers kind if creepy. The game was called Majestic. Google that bad boy.

    Did I mention I ******* HATE @DuckDuckGo now? Their search algo is so ******* PC I can't even find the **** Google shows me when I search the most specific terms, it just gives me generic bullshit. Hey DDG, you are now a **** search engine, worse than aol.

    Then we have David Morse. I HATE him. He was okay in Hack, but he had a bad attitude on House. There was a guy on AOL that always talked about him being shitless, and a friend of my Mother's just swooned over him too. He's bag-over-the-head UGLY !

    @FetchRewards, Nothing updates on my AOL account except my Amazon receipts. On my Gmail, the only things that automatically update are my ShopRite and GrubHub receipts. Nothing else. So, you telling me to fix something that I cannot fix DOES NOT HELP ME!

    @samstrades @MacroAlf Some of the hopes and dreams end up becoming reality. The thing is valuations often have a lot of conditionals that may turn out true or not. Microsoft’s hopes and dreams from mid 90s turned into reality, AOL’s never returned from the nightmares of 2000-2002.
