@megansarahj I had AOL right at the end, but luckily I got out before the damage could move at speeds beyond that of my 14.4K dial-up modem that hogged our only phone line.

@fmMyke You too young. Poor people had the AOL free trial discs so they were the pioneers. If you had msn you were privileged and could pay for internet.

@Phoenix29041592 @AOL I’d love 2 see “him” in orange jumper..but don’t get your hopes up. USA has 2 sets of laws & rich people don’t go 2 jail in the USA. Poor people, people of color, immigrants & their kids who can’t fight back.....THEY GO 2 JAIL & then the rich profit from it. Cc @Blklivesmatter

@jarroddicker Do you think its people who forgot to cancel? Or do you think its a generation of people that signed up for AOL when they were 50-60 and now they're 70-80 and they just don't care/know to switch

. @aolmail Why would you mark email as spam not even letting it through that I have never marked as spam and always interact with? I missed out on things that I pay for because you decided this email was spam. 😡

the subscription media business will inevitably have their AOL deja vu moment as it’s executing the same exact strategy— Have people subscribe at a low annual & hope they forget to cancel. 1-2M Americans are still paying for AOL dial-up services. One to two MILLION.
