@liturgicalgay 4 points. Never had AOL or MySpace accounts, never used dialup to access the Internet, and I never owned an encyclopedia. (I used dialup, but to access the older Usenet, not Internet. My parents owned the encyclopedia, not I.)

I just created an aol email account & when I start to enter the send to, email address, it pops up with error message that data may not be saved with choices to cancel or leave page. I am unable to compose or send emails.

@ShireenGhorbani This is awful. An ex of mine - way back when AOL had chat rooms would pretend to be me and invite strangers to my home and work to meet them. I’ll let you imagine the tone of those conversations and what they expected when they met - it took 8 months before he stopped

@PastPostcard When AOL used to dole out all those 'CD's' to get you to sign up for their services, the first question the help desk had on its list was 'Do you own a computer?' Everyone was putting the disc into a DVD player and expecting the internet on their TV.
