@liturgicalgay 4 points. Never had AOL or MySpace accounts, never used dialup to access the Internet, and I never owned an encyclopedia. (I used dialup, but to access the older Usenet, not Internet. My parents owned the encyclopedia, not I.)

@megansarahj I had AOL right at the end, but luckily I got out before the damage could move at speeds beyond that of my 14.4K dial-up modem that hogged our only phone line.

Links aren't linking and photos aren't loading...this site has turned into a never-ending series of AIM away messages. For the youngins, AIM = AOL Instant Messenger, it was all the rage when AOL came on a CD that they mailed you for free 6 times a year. #TwitterDown

@worldofanastas1 This really does show the power of the internet. I remember being a kid and having to hear the AOL dial tone before getting on the internet I spent most of my time outside and caring around my camera. Hanging with my girls at the park going down-town.

AOL, Omegle, and Stickam walked so Discord, Instagram, and Tiktok can run. Those websites hosted so much ****, I'm surprised they didn't just have an FBI agent watching streams at all times.

@mannamedbambi Yack That's not good at all... It reminds me of the time where I attempted to record a podcast with @timprice17 aka the pod crasher. Connection issues, connection issues, connection issues... Those rural areas really are AOL level of bad.
