My little sister just graduated from AOL and I was never a fan of the school because the other kids were always out of pocket. I have no idea how she did it all those years.

  • byRicardoG Ricardo Guillaume (@byRicardoG) reported from Boston, Massachusetts

@BigWillCarp Yea, she just took the kid’s milk and poured it down the drain. Last season she used a satanic pseudonym on aol instant messenger to weasel her way into his house. Going from Ritchie and his fetish to Ralphie and his fetish alone. Psychopath. 💀

  • JoesGonnaTweetU Joe Edwards ⚡️ ジョ・エドワルドス (@JoesGonnaTweetU) reported from Medford, Massachusetts

Damn this aged the shit outta me...AOL/AIM ain’t even on here 😭

  • kaymbfoster loops thee pony🎀 (@kaymbfoster) reported from Boston, Massachusetts

  • AugerLou Lou Auger (@AugerLou) reported from Canton, Massachusetts

@joncoopertweets @AOL I'm tired of fricking apologies. JUST DONT DO IT!! Treat people the way you want them to treat you!! If you want the public to respect you, earn it. They need to be fired and the message to all on the force that such behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

  • AugerLou Lou Auger (@AugerLou) reported from Canton, Massachusetts

    @joncoopertweets @AOL STUPID. STUPID. STUPID.

  • joeg816 Joe (@joeg816) reported

@aolmail any update on the IMAP outage? Unable to connect for a couple of weeks. Is there a POP3 alternative at least?

  • gerrct Tin Man (@gerrct) reported

@garyblack00 That spreadsheet is a joke. Not even worth the digital ink. $TSLA is overpriced and with competition breathing down its neck with cars that work, and look better, it is only a matter of time before it AOL's. FSD is delayed and broken. Keep pumping.

  • dr_ionide Digital Logic (@dr_ionide) reported

@HDelench @fightoracle And finished 2020 way under their expected $10B revenue, even with that growth. And they're selling for half of what they bought AOL and Yahoo for. It's garbage and being sold for a reason.

  • Sc_Meerkat Scept Meerkat (@Sc_Meerkat) reported

@corneil @jasongorman I remember in mid 90s in a small company we had a computer with AOL. We would send an email with a patch attached to customers in other countries on the same day as an issue was reported.

  • Lex_Jurgen Lex Jurgen (@Lex_Jurgen) reported

@JohnStossel @Snowden The scale is quite different, just for argument's sake. Google, Facebook, Apple 5-10 times larger than AOL at its peak or IBM. The principle may be the same, but the size and scale are certainly unique. We've never had companies anywhere close to this capitalized before.

  • BarryRoland19 BarryRoland19 (@BarryRoland19) reported

@ajobst Everyone thinks sellers are so stupid with their aol email addresses, selling with all this "meat" on the bone, etc. Meanwhile, the same seller bought the building in 1976 for $8,000 at a 20% cap, never did repairs, and is selling the value-add for $4.5m at a 3% cap.
