@fesshole When I worked for AOL we didn’t have caller id systems, but that was when they had outsourced IT support to a 3rd party who cut every corner they could. Did have a customer have problems looking at all the porn he had saved though.

@LoveRetroBTW Never winter nights on AOL. I played something else on prodigy but I don't think it was an MMO and I'm not counting any of the BBS MUDS. Those were more like solo games with some player interactions. 1/2 MMO.

Will we look bad at Tesla’s earning manipulation and the coming frenzy over buying Twitter as the top? Kind of the crazy mentality that caused Times Warner to buy AOL back in the day. Talk about a disaster.

@Unshuldshasherl @JustmeMandi Ah, I getcha, My sister and I loved the concept when Lingo re-booted on the Game Show Network in 2002, and we even made our own custom version to play over AOL Instant Messenger. By the time Wordle happened, Lingo was long out of my system and I stopped after 3 weeks. =p

@TheSandmanEsq @slctvmonstering I met one of my very first girlfriends in an AOL chatroom where she introduced me to Lords of Acid. It was around the time Bloodhound Gang's Bad Touch came out. We shared songs and made mix tapes. She made me a Veggie Tales one as a joke We ended up being friends for 20+ years.
