@whitecatprophcy I came home from my mission in the summer of '94. I never heard of the internet until the last month of my mission when a member told us that they had just signed up for AOL. I can't even imagine what it's like for missionaries now

@moonlitmantras @Dandeebakes I got online when I was 14, in 199something. Most spaces were adult spaces. I stuck to AOL message boards and kept my age to myself. Anything that bothered me, I avoided (and sometimes didn't 😈), but I never told them to adapt to ME. That would have been ridiculous.

Warner once bought AOL for millions as more people were starting to get broadband. Warner also sold WCW to Vince McMahon for less than his recent hush money payout. CW was sold recently after everything they invested into DC shows. They make bad decisions all the time.

@nohalfsends9 @IOHK_Charles You remember myspace? It was first with alkost a monopoly. Do you know where it is now? What about AOL? Etc… building things right in the long term is the solution, not being first with a faulty product.

@itstheref @loveislandpriv Well I liked BB1. Maybe because it was new and different. The feeds were free on AOL. You saw everything. They never blocked anything. The people that caused the trouble were the ones that got voted out. That's why they didn't like it. Likeable people had a chance.
