@clubjade That's pretty crappy if it's true. I don't remember what the name of my old AOL Star Wars group was, but we do have a FB group (that's pretty slow/inactive).

@apark2453 @mmasnick Precisely the same reason digital information providers (like AOL) first embraced the internet as "hey, it's extra content we don't have to pay for" and eventually reduced the exclusive content to nearly zero and made internet service a utility.

@ReturnOfTheFleX It has already got to the point we are charging kids with felony’s for “cyber bullying” in high schools .. God help us all !! Back when we were running @AOL we would call the parents and let them know . Or at the Catholic school I was assistant Dean at “hey we had an issue)”

@PattyisChatty @zerohedge I had a friend who was a chiropractor and he would tell me how easy trading was in .com boom . He bought every dip in AOL made tons. I said Doc I am losing money. I’m short all that crap and though I’m good and I have a great career making money never feels easy to me . Fast
