I remember on AOL in the 90s, they did like an AMA (it wasn't called that obviously, but same idea) with Rod Gilbert. I'd never heard of him at the time. Why do random things like that stick in your brain?

I just logged into my IMDB account for the first time in over a decade. The login was my AOL email, which I hadn't logged into in almost as long. That was a fascinating nostalgia trip.

@The_Harkonnen Having worked ISP tech support...I feel your pain. I remember one year, Amtrak cut a like that was basically the backbone of the internet for the East Coast...some guy was like, "cancel my service, I'll just go to AOL." I laughed when he hung up...I processed his request.
