@crissles I'm sad that @KidFury never got to experience the blackplanet 12 at MDCC in '00 but he, like me, will get over that after quick after you have to explain to 3 grill fronts how to add the Bone Thug "Change The World" song to their page, while praying my AOL m4m chat dont popoff.

@aolmail How dare you try to charge people to fix a password issue when your system online is not letting them. Your phone line is absolutely garbage people

@DrHistoryBrad We met on AOL in Nov of 1999. We talked for a couple of weeks. His laugh is what drew me to him. He sent me a horrible picture of himself. When we met in person I was surprised by how much better looking he was. I had just turned 30. We’ve been together ever since.

@AOLSupportHelp Yep checked dm, called the same number essentially as last time. Completely useless and was no help at all and you guys still wanted to charge me for an issue that's on your end, not mine. I can't even change my password if I wanted to which I know my password to begin with

@queuebit @cgenco yeah, that's probably possible... they often follow similar patterns like: first-name number @ aol or yahoo (sometimes gmail) then worst case I just ask a real person to confirm...

I'm still trying to figure out how to log into my AOL I own. From the time they messaged me talking ****. It was an automatic judgement on neglect. You even have to provide it. I can sue you in that.

@AOLSupportHelp @DianneandDaisy last year spam galore. then it seemed to be fixed but i am more spam and verizon will not do anything to assist in getting aol to fix its spam filters. i am tired of endless enlargement and other crap.

I grew up in that narrow time period where the news had my parents paranoid that I would be abducted by someone I met in an AOL chat room. Don’t give out your real name. Don’t believe anything online. Never meet someone you only know online. Those rules kind of seem odd now.

I gotta say, tech support with AOL IN THE NINETIES, had a ticketing system where info was logged from call to call, so each support tech didn't have to start at the beginning each time. Now, even if you register the item, tech companies have the stupidest support bots.

@AOLSupportHelp You guys have essentially locked me out of an account i've used actively for the past 20 years. I know my password and I have 2 step verification on. I tried to call for help and you have the nerve to try to charge someone to access their account when it's an issue on your end.
