@theJoeGriffin @CethanLeahy THe only thing I remember from the Stepford Wives is a bit where one of the husbands is like "I work for AOL" and Kidman is all "Is that why the bots are so slow?" Big laughs in the cinema, people rolling in the aisles. Paramedics called in.

@Namajapa For Bluewater atleast there is some past data, it was like 11m USD net profit TTM and 18m USD revenue TTM for AOL it is just a wild guess. Jim s firm prior to $VXTR was making 200m per year revenue ? could you help me here please. and that was mostly foreclosure work right?

Btw being internet and computers very early i never relate to millennials when they talk about “We saw the internet change us ” and like yo a million people were on AOL in 1995 Netscape had 10 million worldwide users in 1995 i get that’s really small but I was there

@JewishWonk @the_transit_guy Time Warner agreeing to sell itself to AOL. I literally lived that one. It was awful. It ruined Time Warner, and sadly the former Turner networks. The stocks tanked. And worst of all, we employees were basically never happy again.
