@aol @AppleSupport please fix your all email issue with native mail app on iPhone. Continues to ask me for password and I've exhausted all avenues. #pleasefix

@AOL is the worst internet provider and email service! That’s exactly why they are going out of business. They wont let me acquire an email that I have not used in years (which happens to be the same email for my IG). DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

  • 9Number9 David Cohen (@9Number9) reported from Basking Ridge, New Jersey

  • garyvfoss Gary V. Foss (@garyvfoss) reported

Do you guys remember Netscape Navigator? Kazaa? Remember when AOL bought Time-Warner, then kind of faded away? Napster? GeoCities? My point is that Facebook (or Twitter) could shut down tomorrow, and by the end of the year barely anyone would remember it.

  • MedleyTrey Dr Trey (Medley) (@MedleyTrey) reported

@KevinDr_ver @hoopersnook Does NetZero internet count? Cause I had that my junior year of highschool. It was terrible. My parents refused to use the aol free trial

  • klarrimore Keith (@klarrimore) reported

@benedictevans Incredibly simplistic. 1992: nobody will use AOL (the internet), the dial up costs are too high 1998: nobody will ever use linux on the desktop and there is no driver support 1998: nobody will use a desktop OS without email/outlook

  • SethHoyle Sad Boy AMC (@SethHoyle) reported

@PeterRHann1 Damn AOL always coming hard

  • mjg59 Matthew Garrett (@mjg59) reported

@fivetonsflax If I'd built a P2P network on top of AIM, and it ended up being used for a whole bunch of critical infrastructure, would that have created an obligation on AOL's part?

  • AFyou2 eggs riley (@AFyou2) reported

@jl195480 @cxwphotos @BereftOfTheDial funny. I had a Netscape email probably worked until about 2017-ish? it was aliased to an aol email that I never created. tbh I'm amazed either of them were still around

  • scamminggrandpa Grandpa (@scamminggrandpa) reported

Have been on the phone with aol support for north of two hours so I can login to AIM

  • karlrolson 💀traklystron (@karlrolson) reported

@DeaneTheFox @Foone Same! My grandpa never had an internet subscription, so working out the best (read: simplest to finesse more hours & no ads out of) free ISP, so I wasn't tying up the AOL account my parents' were using back at home was key.
