If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

@srwalker41 @AOLSupportHelp Sadly from what I’ve been dealing with all day AOL doesn’t seem to think it’s their problem though there are tons of users who have encountered the same issue it’s obviously a server issue on their end not us as the users

@ChrisWennermark @AOLSupportHelp Apparently got nowhere went round & round w/ DM’s & essentially feel like they’re telling me I need to correct some thing on my end when I didn’t change anything & it apparently is numerous users & not me as an individual user which means it’s the AOL servers that have a problem

wondering if this is simply a way to push their ad heavy app... the other solution seems to be @maildroid, which natively supports AOL mail (using OAuth 2). I was able to get it to work after a couple unexplained "uh oh" messages

@KungFuMan316 Yep. Every other day, I hear about some kid either getting outted for being in some discord/group chat, or some discord get outted for allowing kids. I swear it didn't used to be this bad, even back in the AOL chatroom days.

@AOLSupportHelp We have accessed our Verizon emails through our iPhones and through outlook for years, as of today, that no longer works. What can we do to fix that? Thanks.

@syndk8 @JohnMu Aaah, that makes sense. Probably more to do with old or outdated browsers that cause an issue. I know even in the USA there are still people accessing the internet using an AOL account using dialup internet.
