@GrowlyCub I think so, I did use it very very briefly but it never took off in my circles. I think I had a client that did AOL IM, Yahoo IM, and ICQ.

@TheBarrylad It won’t stop. It was Tuesday when Nigro debuted. Whether it was message boards, newsgroups, AOL …. It never changed until it died and AEW isn’t dying

@dixonij Let me tell you about my AOL dialup that had a minutes per month plan and the trouble I used to get into for going over.

  • Mina001 MINA (@Mina001) reported

@AOL so, I just got off the phone with one of your representatives that informed me it was no longer policy to uphold a compensation given to me after my email was hacked and that AOL was canceling my AARP. Any comment? Is this customer service standards you are happy enforcing?

  • rbottoms Richard Bottoms (@rbottoms) reported

@joncoopertweets No "we" do not need to either. I never thought anything would replace the WildcatBBS! style of social networking. AOL. MySpace. Facebook. These systems come and go, convincing people they are irreplaceable is just a trick.

  • pachaman1979 Allen Long (@pachaman1979) reported

@RBReich So I’m internetting right now? Twittering is now the interverse. If I knew that, I could sell my AOL disks from the 90s for a mint today. Free Twitter!!!! Oh or maybe StarLink…maybe that is what this is about. He who controls StarLink controls that Internet….service provider.
