Spaulding T. Bear (@spauldingtbear) reported@oelma__ Nope. Not really. I remember when yahoo and msn came along. I had AOL at 2.0. (Can't remember the name of the service before them, but it only lasted 2 hours and cost too much to keep going.)
-
Alison Somin (@AlisonSomin) reported@NancyAFrench I never actually canceled my AOL email but no one in my life has written me there for a long, long time
-
Michael Strong (@flowidealism) reportedI remember being excited by Google and its clean interface and effective search as compared to Yahoo and AOL around 1999. It has become absolute garbage.
-
Paul Walsh (@Paul__Walsh) reportedThe answer is, no. The advice is to build a sandbox properly. An AI that can steal credentials is the worst example of a sandbox I’ve seen since 1996 when I was head of testing for the launch of all new technology for AOL in the UK, and AIM globally. This is all 100% PR. Is AI a danger to society? Yes. But that’s because the humans at the wheel don’t care.

MJ (@MJ8675309JM) reported@Barbara0699 @theliamnissan I’m almost embarrassed to say that I still use an AOL account for shopping, etc. I get enough free stuff from them to make it worthwhile, and they’re great at filtering out the garbage.
-
Spank (@mentaldischarge) reported@Lefty_Foshizzle There's some poor geezer who still uses an AOL e-mail address running around dropping cashier's checks off at Walmart to get his piece of the pie.
-
Bill Greenwood (@Lousanabill) reported@Martyupnorth Nope. never did have AOL. :)
-
***** Research (@BimboResearch) reported@EnableEm @edzitron Just post the short position retard or the worthless puts. I tried to be nice but you can't provide any counter arguments besides repeatedly posting "2% broad customer demand for AI 4yrs post GPT 3.5, internet was 22% 3yrs post AOL CDs". **** off

Abby_NormaL (@AbbyNormaL131) reported@BuzzPatterson Don't ever try and cancel it! It's worse than trying to cancel your AOL account!! We had to lock the card we used because even tho we cancelled it, and they confirmed it... They still kept trying to charge us
