    @FlyinBrianJr Yes, I'm conyacting AOL customer service, and they told me to try another dial-up server, and update the software for AOL instant messaging. Still waiting for a good connection. That 1 gig speed internet isn't an improvement either.

    Back in the day, I was catfished on MySpace. This girl was using her cousins pics as her own. This was the AOL/AIM days, so you know XeLBoW did his investigative work and called her out when shit got fishy.

    @thatdarntigress I was never brave enough for the aol chatrooms but I spent a lot of time in newsgroups. I remember looking up a Tiny Toons newsgroup and finding a very long, very adult fic about a Buster/Babs/Shirley threeway that is still embedded in my psyche 23 years later

    @GradeKangusBeef @Moridin1024 I love the stasis boxes and a lot of what’s in them is stuff we already knew about so it’s cool to see. And yeah, a way to limit traveling is nice. But why conflate traveling and TAR? We spend a ton of time w/ AoL channelers in TAR and they never think this might be useful. 1/2
