This is so new in any practical sense. The web itself didn’t matter to most without the browser & AOL. Web 2 didn’t matter for most until Facebook. Most people need real applications.

I'm not sure how to say it, but if you can do a tidy mess of Geocities. The awful retro elements, but actually laid out organized.

Parents didn't know how to use it or anything, so I was able to do whatever I wanted, haha. Somehow stayed out of too much trouble, though.
