@Robdobi There used to be a streaming service back in 2002/2003 i ised an the ska station was called f ska fitzgerald it was either like aol or yahoo it would play good stuff and then also play propagandhi’s “ska sucks”

@kim__etc Well to say by my experience over the internet since it ever began in 2000. Dial up was very quiet but noisy for modems. And computers were slow back then. My way to the first online connect was AOL and it was nice to chat with real people who worked for AOL and gave great advice

@pcgamer AOL gave a free month of service as a opening for a reoccurring subscription. Sure it was dialup. But my dad would call to cancel before incurring charges and they would offer him 2 months free. Rinse and repeat and didn't pay for AOL dialup for 3 years. What was the question?

@bleakhousing @cynthiasaysboo @kairyssdal His name is Elwood Edwards. I don't know if he was ever really down and out, but I know that for awhile he had a website where you could pay and he'd record stuff in the AOL voice (though he had some "no-go" rules). I don't think he does it anymore.
