@Grummz Companies need to get over the 20th century mentality that office work needs to always be on site. Problem is many large companies still have admins who use faxes, think the internet is still AOL & who think knowing anything about computers & the internet is, "for nerds"...

@AOLSupportHelp Why does the McAfee app terminate my subscription every 15 days? I pay AOL a monthly fee for the McAfee protection. You’re going to lose a 20 year customer.

@heroinebook It's through a private company, because I'm having trouble finding any municipal programs within our area. I just don't remember this ever being an issue when I was a kid! Swimming lessons seemed to constantly appear like AOL discs.

My 2 cents on Facebook's massive sell-off today is that their algorithm sucks... it elevates comments based on the most views & interactions, positive or negative. And it's gummed up with ads. Having lived to watch the end of AOL, myspace, and others, it's on the same track.

@MikeBradleyMKE Totally agree with the similarity to AOL, especially in how awful the interface has gotten. I have a FB account so I can access things that are only on FB and go on occasionally to check on specific things. Each time I am surprised but its mind-bogglingly bad design.

Here's the thing: AOL could have fixed this issue *the entire time* by patching aolrich.dll, which was responsible for, among other things, HTML rendering in the AOL client.
