@RealTina40 They're weak.... I debate with people on the internet all the time since the 90's on AOL.... Never blocked a soul.

  • princetrunks Chuck Gaffney (@princetrunks) reported from Rocky Point, New York

@Grummz Companies need to get over the 20th century mentality that office work needs to always be on site. Problem is many large companies still have admins who use faxes, think the internet is still AOL & who think knowing anything about computers & the internet is, "for nerds"...

  • theRealArcueid Arcueid🚩Bjornstad💘(LVL 32) (@theRealArcueid) reported from Coram, New York

@rehab_kyle @vocaloidfagboy I'm a Wizard who used to be online since the 1990s and I predate /b/, so I associate Being Online still with Trying to Be polite -the Internet went from being Virgin (aol) to chad (b) to Virgin (modern social media) in your local argot, from my pov. But alas, I never

When the AOL Merger happened, we got Cartoon Network and all the cartoons that came with it, when the Time merger happen, we got Adventure Time, when the AT&T merger happen, we got Jellystone, Mao Mao, Infinity Train etc. I predict we'll have another renaissance after Discovery

  • SteppingBackOut Kelly in PA (@SteppingBackOut) reported

@st_weightloss Designing/producing fantasy sports games at AOL in the mid 90s was my best job. When AOL decided to stop paying the developers and left the community hanging - but still left me as the face of the franchise - it became my worst job.

  • ErrataRob Robᵉʳᵗ Graham (@ErrataRob) reported

@ScottGreenfield AOL email addresses were always looked down upon, even from the very beginning. We all rolled our eyes when our lawyer friends got online for the first time, wrote their first emails in ALL CAPS, and kept sending us jokes that were new to them but circulating online for years.

  • SallyTallywaggs MissSallyTallywaggs (@SallyTallywaggs) reported

@GeraldoRivera Ok, first of all, he never liked you, and you turned on him embarrassed that he didn’t. Then you turned on @dbongino and made your money exploiting people. Like paying a stripper, you put them on display right as aol took off-you’re responsible for the trash on tv and the net.

  • SonicCrash378 PlatformFighterFanatic (@SonicCrash378) reported

@HibbySloth With how much damage and outcry this has done to the WB brand, I wouldn’t be surprised if this merger only lasts a few years like the AOL merger in the 2000’s.

  • poppamol molly (@poppamol) reported

i’ll never forgive you for what you did to AIM @AOL

  • AArtfus ArfusArtfus (@AArtfus) reported

@ValestiVale I miss cheesy terrible winAmp and AOL skins/themes, dangit. And where are my imac fruity colored laptops!

  • chrysicat C "Still think ya can control 'em?" Cat🏳️‍⚧️ 🇺🇦 (@chrysicat) reported

Basically, Warner's been ******-in-the-long-run ever since the Video Game Crash. It's never fully gotten over owning Atari. Its weakness at the turn of the century in particular was a problem, since it left it open to AOL.

  • zacharynoah Zachary Noah (@zacharynoah) reported

@SilverMontu @RMaster007 If the AOL and AT&T mergers had never happened, Warner Bros. as a whole wouldn’t have been in debt in the first place. The entire studio will be too far gone for redemption, and the only option left will be for WB to close forever and sell all its assets to rival studios.
