If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

@BluebellFlora1 @Crosimmer I suspect a lot of those are people who use mods, which is fine, but when reporting their issue they said they don’t use mods. I work in IT and the amount of people who lie about their setup is amazing. “I don’t use any unapproved apps” *has AOL installed on their pc*. Same thing

We later learn that during her call she was in my email (this was in the days of AOL) and was sending emails to everyone about what an ******* I was, threatening, etc. When confronted with the truth about what occurred, she admitted to lying because she was upset. 10/

i still vividly remember being very young & having aol cds/floppies just show up all the time. they were everywhere. my family never had aol but boy oh boy did we get those disks

@1800callPaul Oh! Old school! I always tried to play maple story but I could never get to load on my dialup computer! It might have been cos of the AOL parental control my parents used 🫠
