@madsthetic On the Delphi service (AOL competitor which had the official show-sanctioned message boards) they were called “Estrogen Brigades” (biologically essentialist lol). So there was a DDEB and a MPEB. This was 1994.

@ericd I would like to know what grades she got on her report card. It would help me to decide if she deserved to have AOL taken away or if should should have been allowed to keep it.

@kenlowery I deal with customer escalations for a big tech-company. I know the level of rudeness I can expect just by reviewing the email providers age: Shout-out to prodigy, aol, and hotmail users for making my life harder—only gmail and outlook people have manners.

My path to tech from childhood. To be honest, it kinda fed into itself, let me explain. As a child I could only access two paths to the internet: AOL and Prodigy. Prodigy sucked tbh, so AOL it was. **** wasn’t cheap, so I suddenly had a need. Free internet.
